The simple but elegant two door front entryway commands attention and an ell and three car garage extending out from the right side elevation compliment the main house and give it a greater lateral dimension. The interior of this home is designed to compliment a larger family and more informal lifestyle. With the exception of the formal dining room (which can also function as a private office), the main level is left mostly open from space to space.
A large living room with a fireplace looks out onto the rear lawn through a double glass door. The expansive kitchen with a second fireplace flows into a gathering room with a third fireplace. Also contained in the connector is an alternative dining area with accenting columns (necessary to carry a beam in the ceiling) and several glass doors, which create a bright, warm place for family interaction and activities. A rear screened porch offers a protected outdoor sitting area and to the right a mudroom with half bath leads out to a covered breezeway and on to the three bay carriage shed.
